Pocket – an app you should be using – just added great new features

You’ve probably heard of Pocket, but are you using it? It’s one of my favorite apps and allows users to easily save articles for reading later. The company just updated the iOS and Android apps with some great new features.

The first one, which I particularly like, allows you to follow other users and engage with what they post. Now you’ll finally be able to follow that really interesting friend of yours and, even better, you’ll be able to like and repost their stories. It’s kind of like Tumblr in that way, but for news stories and other articles that you find online. Pocket links right up with Twitter, Facebook and your address book, too, so it should be fairly simple to find new friends from the get-go.┬áLike all social networks, Pocket’s new features are a two-way-street, so you’ll get notifications when people like your posts or repost them, too.

The Pocket update is available for iOS and Android now.
