Razer already makes a great laptop. Now the popular gaming gear company could be cooking up a mobile device as well. A recent job listing shared by CEO Min-Liang Tan suggests a Razer smartphone or tablet could be in the works.

The Product Developer position is a little vague on detailsĀ but notes that the new employee will beĀ “responsible for product conceptualization process.” They also need to be up to speed on the all the latest smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices. The position requires technical know-how as well when it comes to ARM systems and components.

So, clearly Razer is at least interested in the mobile space. That doesn’t necessarily mean the company is working on a physical device, but we wouldn’t rule it out. Either way, the idea of a powerful Razer smartphone or tablet with a focus on gaming sounds pretty awesome. TechnoBuffalo reached out to Razer for comment but a spokesperson did not reply to our request for comment.
