Dolby on Wednesday announced a collaboration with Highfive, a video conferencing solution, bringing its Dolby Voice technology into the workspace. The new system is designed to enhance the services Highfive currently offers, giving users a richer and clearer conferencing experience.

“The stunning audio quality of Dolby Voice combined with Highfive’s simple and easy-to-use solution replaces noisy conference calls with a complete audio and video experience,” explained Dolby Laboratories President and CEO Kevin Yeaman. “This breakthrough system allows people to communicate and collaborate more effectively.”

Highfive is used by some of today’s biggest companies, including Evernote, Warby Parker, Rue La La, Mimeo and Shift. With Dolby’s technology now integrated into every Highfive conference, users will get the best possible audio experience, ensuring ideas are heard and background noise is eliminated.

Dolby typically earns plaudits for its breathtaking cinema experience, but it’s also making big strides in other avenues. You can see Highfive’s conference solution in action by heading to the company’s website.
