What happens when the makers of Burnout decide to give up the world of driving for the world of golf? Well, Dangerous Golf is what happens, and it looks glorious.
Three Fields Entertainment have officially announced the release date for Dangerous Golf. The title will hit the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on June 3, 2016. Along with the news of the release date, the team dropped two fresh trailers for potential players to gawk at.
Gorgeous, right? It also looks hilarious.
Dangerous Golf will ship with four modes of play. Here’s how they’re described on the official site.
- World Tour – Embark on a world tour of destruction. Compete in 10 Tours that take you around the globe. Unlock 100 different holes, each featuring different combinations of play mechanics.
- Co-Op World Tour – Two golfers playing dangerously together. The perfect Couch Co-Op experience! Take turns to Tee-Off, Smashbreak and Putt. Players take turns but scores are combined. Damage does not reset between turns. Work together to maximize scoring. Use one or more controllers.
- Party Golf (Offline) – Destructive golfing fun for up to 8 Players. Pass the pad and take turns to set the biggest scores. Choose the holes to be played.
- Party Golf (Online) – Take on and play against the most dangerous golfers in the world. Up to 8 Players.
Sounds good to me.
Burnout‘s crash mode always scratched an itch I never knew I had, and I’ve sorely missed the franchise since its departure. The fact that I’ll be able to partake in just the crashing stuff in a golf game sounds wonderful.
I’ll be checking out Dangerous Golf once it releases, so stay tuned.
