Amazon Fire tablet is only $40 right now

The Amazon Fire tablet is a great tablet that ordinarily costs $50. I admit, I didn’t really believe it was that good when I first heard about the slate; it seemed like a cheap-o plastic piece of junk. But then, heading into a trip with my wife, I decided to splurge on two of them just in case the airplane lacked satisfactory seatback entertainment. I’m glad I did.

Now you can grab the Amazon Fire tablet for just $39.99, a $10 discount from the standard price. That applies to all colors, including the new orange, blue or purple options that just launched, and includes the cost of free next-day delivery if you’re an Amazon Prime member and live in an area where that’s an option.

If you’re in need of a tablet and don’t want to break the bank, I recommend taking advantage of the Amazon Fire sale.
