Motorola has a date set to unveil two of its new smartphones that have been traveling through the Leak-O’Matic machine recently. The company announced this week that it will host an event on May 17 in India where both devices, the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus, will make their debut, according to Android Central.
India has become an increasingly important market for smartphone makers, including Motorola, as manufacturers try to target millions of people clamoring for low-cost and high-performance smartphones. Motorola has seen success in other emerging markets, including South America, with smartphones such as the Moto G and Moto E, and it seems that these new smartphones, the alleged Moto G4 and G4 Plus, will build on those successes.
We’ll likely learn at the event whether or not Motorola has plans to sell the devices in other markets, too.
