PlayStation Plus for may features gods, dictators and tiny cars

I don’t want to dictate what you do and don’t play, but this month’s PlayStation Plus lineup will let you step into the shoes of virtual dictator El Presidente via headlining game Tropico 5 for PlayStation 4. On the handheld side, God of War: Ghost of Sparta will be available to Vita owners.

While those are the most notable games, they aren’t the only ones.

Also available is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 and LocoRoco Cocoreccho! for PlayStation 3. The latter is one of the most colorful, joyful games around. If you haven’t checked it out, this is a perfect opportunity.

In addition to God of War, Vita owners will get to play Switch Galaxy Ultra. That game will be available to PlayStation 4 players alongside Table Top Racing: World Tour and, of course, Tropico 5.

This might not be the most exciting line-up PlayStation Plus has seen, but in terms of sheer variety it’s a strong one, covering action, racing, weird indie games, strategy, and more.

Sony is highlighting Table Top Racing in particular, as it comes from one of the creators of PlayStation classic Wipeout. Instead of space racers, though, we go small, with Micro Machines-style vehicles battling for supremacy (as well as first place) against a life-size backdrop. If it’s as much fun as the old Micro Machines racing game was back in the day, it could be a strong hit for the month.
