Nintendo NX will launch in March 2017, Legend of Zelda delayed again

Nintendo’s most recent financial report reveals huge information regarding the upcoming NX console. According the to the release, Nintendo will ship the console worldwide in March 2017.

For our dedicated video game platform business, Nintendo is currently developing a gaming platform codenamed ‘NX’ with a brand-new concept. NX will be launched in March 2017 globally.

Nintendo also confirmed in a Japanese Twitter post that the moniker “NX” will only be a code-name. No official name has been given to the console just yet. Wall Street Journal reporter Takashi Mochizuki and Nintendo of Europe suggest that the console will not make an appearance at E3 this year, and that most of the focus will be aimed at The Legend of Zelda.

The news falls in line with The Legend of Zelda being delayed into 2017, which is now confirmed to be a simultaneous release on the Wii U the NX. Whether it is a launch title has yet to be seen. Translation from Siliconera.
