The next Xbox One update will only bring some “small fixes”

The Xbox will continue to evolve as it has, but this next update won’t be as impressive as some past ones.

Mike Ybarra, Microsoft’s Director of Program management, took to Twitter this week to answer fan questions about what might be coming in the next update.

“In the next week or so,” Ybarra said, “you’ll see a minor update to the system software in Xbox One. Small fixes, nothing major.”

The Anniversary update, which is set to come out this summer, will be much bigger, including things like background music and Cortana support. This update is likely to offer some bug fixes and maybe some preparation for that bigger update.
