DriveClub VR shows up on ratings board listing

Evolution Studios may be gone, but it seems DriveClub will live. The Entertainment Software Ratings Board has posted a listing for DriveClub VR.

This isn’t the first we’ve seen of DriveClub VR, though. It’d previously been shown as a prototype at Paris Games Week last October. This listing, while not a confirmation from Sony, makes it all but official. The game’s high fidelity graphics and natural first person view make it a perfect showcase for VR, and the fact that it was essentially developed by a second party – the late Evolution Studios only worked on PlayStation games – before moving in-house doesn’t hurt either.

With PlayStation VR scheduled to release this fall, Sony’s E3 show is almost certain to be a huge push for the platform, and it’s easy to see DriveClub as part of that.
