Dude gets Counter-Strike running on Android Wear

I used to play Counter-Strike almost every day in my high school dorm room on a PC I built. Seemed like, back then, I still needed a bit more power to get it running smoother. Now that same game is up and running on Android Wear. What?!

YouTuber Dave Bennett recently published a video that shows him running Counter-Strike on his smartwatch. Pretty useless, something you’d almost certainly never want to do, but it’s a fascinating look at just how far computing has come in the last two decades.

Bennett admits you shouldn’t ever do this, in fact, and he said it’s using an app that also allowed him to get Half-Life up and running on a watch. The experience is “not smooth at all” and, without an Internet connection, he can’t even really play. But, he can technically spectate an empty match at about 20fps, though he admits it “feels a lot slower than that.”

So, yeah, totally useless. Also totally awesome.
