Nintendo reveals new games coming to its platforms this spring

Nintendo has released a new highlight reel, detailing its spring line-up in what it likes to call the “Spring Partner Preview.” Essentially, this is every game coming to Nintendo platforms this spring or summer that hasn’t been developed by Nintendo itself. A large majority of them are indie titles, but Capcom and SEGA are still throwing their weight behind the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U as well.

Much of the focus is dedicated to an action puzzle game I’ve never heard of called Tumblestone and the PlayStation 4 and PC “metroidvania” hit Axiom Verge, a game that sits nicely alongside the NES Virtual Console classics that inspired it. The video features the developers explaining their game, so be sure to listen for the extra insight into what each has in store.

Following these two titles, the video jumps into a sizzle reel loaded with great titles. What are we most looking forward to here? There are so many, I can’t choose! Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, Noitu Love: Devolution,  Jotun, yet another port of Super Meat BoyCorpse Party, and none other than Azure Striker Gunvolt 2! I think we have a winner, folks!

SEGA chips in with the SEGA 3D Classics Collection and 7th Dragon III Code: VFD, and where would Capcom be without tossing a Monster Hunter game into the mix every single year?

Not the best line-up of all time, but really solid if indie games on the move are your thing.
