Acer’s new smartphone has the biggest battery we’ve ever seen in a phone

Acer just announced a new smartphone named the Liquid Zest Plus that packs the biggest battery we’ve ever seen in a phone – at least, in recent memory and including all major flagships. I mean, heck, even the LG G5 only gets up to 4,000mAh, and that’s after you attach a separate camera accessory. Crazy.

The Acer Liquid Zest Plus features a massive 5,000mAh battery that should keep you chugging along for more than a day no matter your use case. It also features a large 5.5-inch screen, fast charging so you can refill that battery without sitting around watching the paint dry, a 13-megapixel camera and more. Better yet, the phone will cost under $250 when it hits the market.

Don’t expect blazing fast performance from a device at that price point, but at least you can expect it to last a really long time.

Update: One of our commenters pointed out that a phone named the Oukitel K10000 features a 10,000mAh battery. Not as mainstream a brand as Acer, but interesting!
