T-Mobile is officially rolling out the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update to the Galaxy Note 5. Turns out the update is also hitting our friends to the north in Canada who own the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5 on Telus, so check for the update if you’re on those carriers, too.
Marshmallow is big news, bringing with it features like Google Now on Tap and Doze for helping to squeeze as much life out of your battery as possible. Android Authority notes that the update is more than a month late – originally expected on March 9 – so let’s hope it goes smoothly and there aren’t any bugs. Guessing folks are probably getting pretty antsy now that Android N is out and in testing, mere months from its official launch.
Head to your phone’s settings menu to check for a manual update now.
