This might be my favorite No Man’s Sky demo to-date. We get a look at a planet and some of the mystery it provides. As Hello Games’ Sean Murray explains, these planets have relics, and the relics can do some pretty crazy stuff if you interact with them in just the right way.
Murray also shows off some terraforming, using his gun to expose a cave that goes on for kilometers below the planet’s surface. That’s awesome.
Then the controller is handed over to Anthony Carboni…
…and all hell breaks loose. Carboni takes no prisoners, names animals after himself, finds out he’s wearing a jetpack and a whole lot more. I likely won’t be playing the game that way when it arrives, but I will say that this gave me a good laugh.
No Man’s Sky releases on the PlayStation 4 and PC on June 21, 2016. We’ll have more on the game as it comes.
