Ubisoft has announced the time and date of its E3 2016 press conference and pre-show, starting a bit earlier than it usually does. As the official Twitter post indicates, the pre-show will get started on June 13 at 12:30 PM PT, and the actual press conference begins at 1:00 PM.
As usual per E3, I’ll be locked away in a hotel room somewhere deep in the heart of Kobe watching video game press conferences until the crack of dawn and running off of two hours of sleep. Ubisoft’s press conference translates into my time as 5:00 AM… Can’t wait…
EA and Bethesda will hold their press conferences a day before Ubisoft’s meaning I will be just at about the end of my patience meter. The company has the chance to salvage my mood by showing off highly-anticipated titles like South Park: The Fractured but Whole, Watch_Dogs 2, and maybe even Beyond Good & Evil 2. Heck, I’d really like a new Rayman, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
Just please, go easy on the “video game actors” this year Ubisoft, and let the gameplay do the talking, not your marketing teams’ impressions of us. That shtick is becoming a little tiresome.
