What a bizarre world we live in sometimes. Rumors of a crossover between Men in Black (MIB) and 21 Jump Street have been circling for a while now, with early speculation suggesting Sony was interested in tapping James Bobin (Flight of the Conchords, The Muppets) to direct. Sony recently confirmed the title will actually happen, believe it or not.

According to Yahoo News, Sony chose the tentative title MIB23 for the flick, which still doesn’t have a release date, combining the titles of Men in Black and marking the third movie in the Jump Street series of movies. The news was unveiled during CinemaCon where ComicBook captured a picture of the film’s new logo, which you can see above.

James Bobin was selected to direct though staples from the Men in Black series may be missing. Yahoo said Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones may not actually play a part in the film. Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum are set to make a return, however.
