We covered the HTC 10 pretty extensively this morning, so we wanted to give you a break before we unloaded a bit of additional news on you. Get this: the HTC 10 supports Apple AirPlay. Yep, the standard that Apple owns for allowing iPhones and iPads to stream to thousands of speakers and other systems around the world.

HTC is the first Android smartphone maker to offer AirPlay support and, in a meeting with the company, an executive suggested it might look at other technologies offered from other companies to license, too. But know this – if you pick up the HTC 10, you can expect it to work with Apple AirPlay devices (for audio only) that you might already have around the house.
