Romancing SaGa 2 hitting the western world after 23 years since release

by Joey Davidson | April 8, 2016

Square Enix has announced that one of the long lusted after and never localized JRPGs, Romancing SaGa 2, is now bound for the western world.

The good news? We’re getting the game for the first time. It originally released way back in 1993 for the Super Famicom (SNES) in Japan.

The kinda bad news? This is a mobile port. It’s a localized release of the Japanese mobile port, to be more specific. It will likely carry Square’s typically hefty mobile price tag, too, so expect it to check in well over $9.99.

We don’t have a release date for it yet, but Romancing SaGa 2 will be available for both the iOS and Android platforms. We’ll have more on this one as it comes.
