Tesla recently unveiled its newest car, the Model 3, but it also has a brand new refresh for the Model S coming. The new model may launch as soon as next week and includes a partially redesigned body, new interior options and more.
According to sources speaking to CNET, the new Model S will borrow various features from other Tesla cars. That includes some of the interior found in the Model X, such as the ventilated seats. The car is also reportedly going to have a redesigned front nose. I dig the nose on the Model 3 a lot, in fact it’s what draws me to the car, but CNET said it won’t be “exactly” like that. Bummer.
It’s unclear what sorts of other changes will be made, but the car will apparently carry a higher price tag than the current Model S, which suggests there might be some bigger changes at play here.
Tesla responded to the CNET report and told the news outlet that it doesn’t comment on rumor or speculation and added that it suggests consumers “interested in purchasing Model S to place their order so they can start enjoying the many benefits of the Model S today.”
Me? I’d wait until next week, first.
