Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End looks stunning in motion and in screenshots. It will likely be the best looking game on the PlayStation 4 once it’s released in May. Will it be toppled? Possibly, but it’s raising the bar for sure.

What about after Uncharted 4? Well, Naughty Dog’s next game could push the PlayStation 4 even harder.

Speaking with DualShockers, Naughty Dog Lead Designer Ricky Cambier explained that, as gorgeous as Uncharted 4 is, he thinks the team can do even more.

“There are definitely areas that I can see that we will be able to do better things already, after this. You know, we have some really smart programmers at Naughty Dog, and I’m always pretty surprised of what they can do.”

Will those smarts get them anywhere? Yes.

“I have a hard time seeing that it will take the same evolutionary jump as you know… the difference between the first Uncharted versus The Last of Us is enormous. But there is no doubt that the next thing we do, we’re gonna get even more out of that PlayStation.”

That sentiment is exciting for the future of the PlayStation 4. Heck, look at the graphical jump between Uncharted and The Last of Us. Both dropped on the same platform.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will launch for the PlayStation 4 on May 10, 2016.
