Well, that was fast. Just three weeks after the release of the first Fallout 4 expansion, its follow-up is set to release next week.
Where Automatron was companion-focused, letting you build robot buddies to defend you and your settlements and take on the villain known as the Mechanist, Wasteland Workshop is all about staying at your base, and making home as violent, bloody, and brutal as possible.
This pack brings in all sorts of conveniences, like a gizmo that washes away radiation, as well as motorized booby-traps and creature cages. You can lock up anything from a house cat to a Deathclaw and unleash them Thunderdome style on your settlers. Two go in, one comes out. The one is the Deathclaw, as you might expect.
Wasteland Workshop is set to hit exactly one week from now on April 12. If you have the Fallout 4 pass, it’s included, but if you’re buying your Fallout 4 content piecemeal, you can grab this one for $4.99. No release date for the Far Harbor expansion, the biggest one yet, is available currently, but it’s expected to hit in May.
