We’ve gotten a few brief looks of Benedict Cumberbatch decked out in full Doctor Strange gear, and new pictures on Twitter reveal more images from the film’s set. This time, we get what appears to be our first look at Mads Mikkelsen, who is playing the movie’s main villain, rumored to be Dormammu.

Damn! Look at his makeup. It doesn’t look like much from afar, but zoom in and you really get a good look at how detailed and intricate it is. It looks like the skin around his eyes is breaking away, revealing a more alien appearance underneath.

In the comics, Dormammu is a powerful mystical being who was born in the dimension of the Faltine, subsisting on energy as his lifeblood. However, he begins gathering matter in an effort to become stronger, which is forbidden by his fellow Faltine. Eventually, Dormammu finds himself in the Dark Dimension, which is where he first encounters Doctor Strange. At some point, it would seem, the villain finds himself among Earth.

Marvel has yet to confirm who Mikkelsen is playing, so this is all just speculation at this point. We have no idea who he is—but a lot of people seem to believe he is indeed playing Dormammu or at least a variation.

Doctor Strange is scheduled for a Nov. 4, 2016 release.
