Rocket League is getting an absurd basketball mode, though it’s coming in April

Developer Psyonix Games has teased a seemingly bonkers new mode for Rocket League called Dunk House. It was announced earlier this month, though now we have a release window. They did so with a short clip in GIF form on Twitter, and they announced that, in spite of March being the month for basketball here in the States, the Madness would come in April.

Just look at this. We have a completely new goal style that might dynamically change how Rocket League is played. It looks awesome.

Just like the Ice Hockey update before it, you can expect to download Dunk House for free when the update is ready. That’s good news as no one likes a fragmented userbase that comes thanks to making these things cost money.

Dunk House looks super cool, and I’ll be firing up Rocket League once the update launches next month.
