Square Enix has confirmed, at the “Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV” event, that Final Fantasy XV will be available on Sept. 30. The date was previously leaked in a rumor by Gematsu. The game will be released exclusively for the PlayStation and Xbox One.

In addition to the game, Square Enix will also release a new demo which will allow players to control young Noctis in the hero’s dreams. The demo will be available from tonight after the broadcast wraps itself up. In the demo, Noctis teams up with Carbuncle, the classic Summon spell which casts Reflect on your party members. The two enjoy a good, old-fashioned “boy and his flying dog” adventure.

More screenshots and videos tomorrow. Final Fantasy XV will be released on Sept. 30 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
