NHL 16 joining EA Access Vault in time for Stanley Cup Playoffs

NHL 16 has been announced as one of the next games to join The Vault in the EA Access program on Xbox One. Subscribers will be able to play it, and many other games, as part of their subscriptions starting on March 29, 2016.

The regular season will close a week after NHL 16 hits The Vault, and that means you’ll be able to give this hockey title a shot as your team makes its final playoff push. Or doesn’t. Sorry, Leaf and Oiler fans.

NHL 16 was a solid effort for the series, though not as good as the game was around 2010-ish. NHL 15, though, was a blunder. This game is better than that, and now you might have a chance to play it if you’re part of the Xbox One userbase subscribed to EA Access.

While we’re on the subject, who’s winning the Cup this year?
