iPhone SE vs iPhone 6S

How does Apple’s newest iPhone compare to the company’s current flagship? The iPhone SE and iPhone 6s may look different on the outside, but they share a lot of the same internal hardware. Read on for our spec-by-spec breakdown of these two devices.

The iPhone SE sports a 4-inch display with an 1136 x 640-pixel resolution, while the iPhone 6s offers a significantly larger 4.7-inch 1334 x 750-pixel display. Both models start at 16GB with larger storage options, but only the iPhone 6s is available with 128GB.

Both phones also offer a 12-megapixel camera, but the iPhone SE packs a 1.2-megapixel shooter in front compared to the iPhone 6s’ 5-megapixel secondary camera. Apple Pay is available on both models as well, thanks to NFC and a Touch ID home button.

The iPhone SE design is almost identical to the iPhone 5s, with sharp corners and chamfered edges. The new phone is available in the same colors as the iPhone 6s, including rose gold, silver, gold and space gray.

The iPhone SE start at $399 for 16GB of storage, while the iPhone 6s still costs at least $649.
