Apple CEO Tim Cook said Monday that there are now more than 1 billion iOS devices in use around the world. “This is an incredible milestone for us,” Cook said, as the company approaches its 40th birthday on April 1. This stat was first published in January during Apple’s earnings.
That obviously includes iPhones as well as iPads, and devices of all ages. It’s an incredible stat for a single company, though Android hit the milestone a while ago with the help of several OEMs.
We’re expecting plenty of Apple news today, including a new iPhone SE, a 9.7-inch iPad Pro and more. Stay tuned!
