Three astronauts launch to ISS tonight – Here’s when to tune in

NASA said Friday that three astronauts will launch on their way to the International Space Station (ISS) tonight. The launch will start at 5:26 p.m. Eastern, when cosmonauts Oleg Skripochka, Alexey Ovchinin and astronaut Jeff Williams will make their way into space. Live coverage for the launch will start at about 4:30 p.m. this evening, NASA said.

The astronauts will depart in the SOYUZ TMA-20M and should arrive just short of 6 hours later. NASA will begin covering the docking at 10:30 p.m. and the actual docking procedure is scheduled to take place at 11:11 pm. The hatch will open at 12:55 a.m., so bet sure to set your DVR in case you fall asleep.
