Disney just can’t be stopped as of late.
Disney has scored another success with Zootopia, and we aren’t too surprised as we loved it. The film scored a great second weekend with $50M. Added in with its growing international numbers and the film has already taken in $431.3M globally.
2. 10 Cloverfield Lane
10 Cloverfield Lane, the surprise film from Bad Robot, opened to $25.2M off of a $12M budget to land in second place.
Deadpool held on to third place this weekend with $10.8M. The Merc with a Mouth now stands at $328M in the U.S., $380M foreign for a global total of $708.12M. All from a $58M budget.
4. London Has Fallen
London Has fallen, the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen, fell to fourth place with $10.66M. It now stands at $38.85M off of a $60M budget.
5. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, the latest from Tina Fey, slipped to fifth place with $4.6M and now stands at $14.57M off of a $35M budget.
