It’s less news at this point than it is just a quick check-in: yep, the PlayStation 4 is still thrashing the Xbox One at retail.

Sony announced today that the system outsold its next closest competitor, the Xbox One, throughout February.

“We would like to thank our fans and partners for making PlayStation 4 the top-selling hardware platform and the software sales leader in February, according to the NPD,” Sony said in the announcement. “We continued to see strong year-over-year sales growth for the PS4 hardware and software and are truly humbled by the support and enthusiasm from gamers. We will continue to deliver amazing experiences with the upcoming launches of Ratchet & Clank, MLB The Show 16, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.”

As the announcement mentioned, the PlayStation 4 also saw more software purchases than any other system last month.

In January, the PlayStation 4 had sold 35 million units, and that number continues to grow.
