DOOM gets an official multiplayer trailer, closed beta dates announced

Bethesda and id Software have released a brand new trailer featuring gameplay from the upcoming DOOM‘s multiplayer mode. It looks fast and exceptionally bloody, like DOOM and old school Quake had a baby.

Yeah, this game now has my attention completely. I loved the fast pace of shooters back in the day, and it looks like id Software is trying to replicate that wizardry.

Alongside the glorious multiplayer footage you see above, Bethesda also took time to announce the closed beta dates for DOOM. The beta will run from March 31 until April 3 on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It’s only open to those who pre-ordered Wolfenstein: The New Order and redeemed their code at the time. I hope you remembered to do so.

DOOM is set to release for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 13, 2016. We’ll have more on the game as it comes.
