Capcom shows no quarter, blasts top ranked Street Fighter V rage quitter

Capcom has promised to crack down on Street Fighter V rage quitters by removing their League Points and dropping them in rank, and it will do so with any player who has video evidence against them and “an 80-90% disconnect rate.” No exceptions.

Not even for the game’s top ranked player.

WORLD_COMBO was the top ranked player in Street Fighter V and one of only two players to reach the Super Platinum level of over 10,000 league points. We use the word “was” in this sentence because he no longer is. As discovered by Kotaku, WORLD_COMBO vanished from the top of the lists and lost roughly 9,000 points through his punishment

Ouch. WORLD_COMBO was replaced by TS|Sabin as the top ranked Street Fighter V player, and he is well known on the tournament scene as a professional player.
