Rick and Morty fans have been waiting anxiously for new episodes ever since season two ended on a major cliffhanger. Now we finally have a bit of news thanks to the show’s creator, Dan Harmon.
Speaking at Florida Supercon earlier this year, Harmon revealed that the series will return near the end of 2016. That’s still many months away, but it’s better than waiting until 2017 or later. Even better, he revealed that Cartoon Network will likely air 14 episodes of the show for season 3 instead of the usual 10.
A video of the panel was published on YouTube back in January, but only started getting attention online earlier this week. You can skip to 10:24 for the relevant info, or watch the entire interview if you have an hour to spare.
