Photos appear to show off iPhone 5se design ahead of March unveil

We already know Apple is preparing to unveil the iPhone 5se, and a handful of photos provided to 9to5Mac might be giving us our first look at the device’s design. It’s essentially an iPhone 5s, as expected, but there are a few big differences worth noting.

While these photos aren’t of a physical iPhone 5se, they are apparently from a case manufacturer 9to5Mac trusts. Of note, the power button has been moved to the right side, making it easier to reach as opposed to being on the top. Additionally, 9to5Mac says the device’s display will be slightly curved but not as pronounced as seen on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s.

Aside from that, the iPhone 5se will look nearly identical to the iPhone 5s. Apple will make most of the changes internally, where we expect an A9 chip, improved camera, Live Photos and support for Apple Pay.

The iPhone 5se will reportedly be unveiled in March though Apple hasn’t announced any plans for an event.
