LG Stylus 2 first look: Huge screen, huge battery and a stylus

by Todd Haselton | February 23, 2016

LG unveiled the Stylus 2 about a week ago and we had a chance to look at it during Mobile World Congress 2016. It’s a pretty compelling-looking device, kind of like a budget Galaxy Note, that offers a big screen and a really big battery.

The Stylus 2 felt pretty snappy during our brief hands-on with it, and we were particularly attracted to the size of the 5.7-inch display, which looks great for taking notes with the stylus, which tucks away into the corner of the smartphone, or watching a quick movie on the go. There’s also a 13MP camera and an 8MP front-facing camera, 16GB of expandable storage, support for LTE networks and more.

LG hasn’t said whether or not the Stylus 2 is coming to the U.S., our gut reaction is probably not, but it should be an affordable note-taking device for folks in release markets when it launches in the coming months.
