If you’re still playing Fallout 4, which wouldn’t be ridiculous, considering just how much game there is to be had within the bounds of the Commonwealth, you’ve enjoyed a variety of updates and improvements to the game regardless of platform, with even the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 seeing some visual enhancements in addition to stuff like better settler management. Now, Bethesda is teasing an overahaul to the game’s brutal Survival mode as well as hinting at a DLC announcement soon.
Regarding DLC, here’s what Bethesda had to say:
We know you’re ready to learn what’s coming for Fallout 4 DLC. We’re not far off, and we think you’ll be excited.

It’s a vague promise, but the fact that they’re talking about it means we can expect something pretty soon.
More concretely, though, was a note about Survival Mode. In another tweet, Bethesda added that they’re “doing a complete overhaul of Fallout 4 Survival mode. Food, sleep, diseases, danger, and more.”
The game is full of fast, sudden, and bloody ways to die, but if you’re looking for a real challenge, it sounds like Bethesda has one on the way.
