Hardcore Henry is an insane movie shot entirely in first person

Ever wonder what it’s like to be an action hero? Wonder no more, because Hardcore Henry is here to offer an unprecedented cinematic experience like no other.

Shot entirely from the perspective of the main character, Henry, the film blends action, sci-fi and drama into a one of the wildest movies you’ll ever see. Hopefully you don’t get sick.

From a distance, Hardcore Henry looks like another action movie, but it adds a unique level of immersion by using a first person perspective. It’s hectic and a little hard to follow, but it looks like a lot of fun. It really reminds me of those commercials Guy Ritchie directed for Nike. Because we’ll never be in these situations, there’s something so enthralling about seeing the action as if you’re the character.

Whether or not Hollywood will utilize the perspective more often is anyone’s guess. I don’t think it’s sustainable for 90 minutes, especially with so much action and movement going on; audiences can only handle so much. But I digress. Hardcore Henry still looks like a no holds barred action experience.
