Samsung is all set to unveil the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge on February 21. A new report reveals when the device might actually be available to buy, along with a special perk for early pre-order customers.
According to AndroidWorld.nl, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will both be ready for pre-order on February 21, right after Samsung unveils the new phones. However, they won’t actually ship until March 11. It’s unclear when they’ll arrive in stores, but it will probably happen at the same time.
The report also claims that Samsung will give a free Gear VR to anyone who pre-orders either smartphone before March 10. That’s a pretty good deal considering the virtual reality headset typically costs $99 on its own.
The Galaxy S7 is also expected to pack a 5.1-inch Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 processor, a 3000mAh battery, a 12-megapixel rear camera, expandable storage and 4GB of RAM. The Galaxy S7 Edge could feature similar specs, but with a larger 5.5-inch curved screen and a massive 3600mAh battery.
We’ll know more in just 10 days, so get your credit card ready if you want to score that free Gear VR.
