Dragon’s Dogma continues to the be the little game that could for Capcom. Five years after it proved to be a major sleeper-hit for the company on the PlayStation 3, the action RPG continues to make waves as the company’s fastest selling PC title of all time.

Has it already been five years? Really?! Needless to say, Capcom is thrilled with the news and hopes that the pace keeps up.

We are extremely pleased with the performance of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. It is our fastest-selling PC title to date, thanks to an audience eagerly waiting for it, and us delivering to the level of quality gamers were expecting

Praise for the port has been universal, a sign of how far Capcom has come when publishing games on the PC. Its historic pace is impressive enough for a relatively unknown title from half a decade ago, but the game is also being sold at the full $29.99 price without having the benefit of any major Steam sales yet either.

I really need to go back and give this game a second chance, don’t I? I remember liking the combat and character creation enough, but the punishing world and lack of fast travel drained me of my effort.
