First “Oculus Ready PCs” from ASUS, Alienware and Dell unveiled, ship with Rift

The Oculus Rift may cost $600, but you’ll need to spend a lot more if you don’t already have a PC to power the experience. Now there are several pre-approved “Oculus Ready PCs” that will be offered with a Rift out of the box. Pre-orders kick off on February 16.

The bundles – which come from ASUS, Alienware and Dell – will include an Oculus Rift, a sensor, an Xbox One controller and two free games, including Lucky’s Tale and EVE:Valkyrie Founder’s Pack. The bundles start at just under $1,500, and will pretty much assure you that you’ll be cruising virtual landscapes the same day your computer arrives. All bundles will be available from Best Buy, Amazon and Microsoft, and will begin to ship in April, in case you decide not to pre-order.

Already order a Rift? No worries, the computers are available at a discount for you. Hit the source for more information.
