HTC One M10 image leaks, ditches front-facing HTC logo

Is this our first glimpse of the HTC M10? According to Twitter user Evan Blass, it is.

The photo was posted Friday morning along with a link to an earlier report about the M10, which claimed the device would sport a 5.1-inch QHD display, Sense 8, a Snapdragon 820 chip, 4GB of RAM and expandable storage. These are the kind of specs you’d expect from an upcoming flagship of this caliber. The more pertinent details come from the picture itself, which alleges to show the front of the M10.

According to an earlier Tweet from Blass, HTC would be doing away with its front-facing logo nonsense, and that does appear to be the case in the M10. Additionally, the device’s famous BoomSound speakers have disappeared, while the home button/fingerprint sensor has been tweaked slightly. On the right side you can see a volume rocker and etched power button, and on front is an enormous camera, which is rumored to offer optical image stabilization.

If you are familiar with the HTC A9, you’ll know what direction HTC is trending toward with its designs. Chances are the M10 will look similar to the A9, just classed up as it looks to do battle with the Galaxy S7 and LG G5.
