You can expect to see the LG G5 on Feb. 21, the day before Mobile World Congress begins. The Korean company confirmed the date through its social media channels on Wednesday, making some not-so-subtle references that photography will be a major focal point. It also emailed invites to the press.
LG last year stood out for offering some of the best mobile camera software on the market—on both the photo and video side—and it looks like the company is going to emphasize its strengths once the G5 is announced. What other major improvements will be made is unclear, though we have heard some rumblings about what to expect.
In addition to what we assume will be improved camera quality, we’re also expecting LG to introduce a new design for the G5, along with the market’s most bleeding-edge specs. We will, of course, be at the show to deliver the latest news.
