Cities: Skylines’ Snowfall DLC will release in two weeks

Cities: Skylines is getting a new round of DLC on February 18th. It’s called “Snowfall,” and, quite obviously, it features content that you’d find in a winter wonderland.

All this fresh snow brings new problems for city mayors. Speaking as someone who lives in a city that was recently hit with a major snowstorm and subsequently unable to keep itself plowed for days on end, snow can be challenging. Really challenging.

In Cities: Skylines, snow accumulation will lead to slowed traffic and lower temperatures will cause energy consumption to skyrocket. Sounds terrible. And awesome. Terribly awesome.

When the Snowfall DLC goes on sale, it’ll sell for $12.99? Is that a bit too much? We’ll see when it’s up for purchase.
