Google drops Nexus 5X price yet again

by Brandon Russell | January 26, 2016January 26, 2016 3:00 pm PDT

Earlier this month, Google dropped the price of its Nexus 5X by $30—but you can get it for even cheaper starting today.

Customers can now pick up the Nexus 5X for just $299 through the Google Store, which is $80 cheaper than what the device started at when it first when on sale. It’s unclear if the price drop is a permanent move, or simply due to Valentine’s Day savings. Bottom line: if you’re in the market to pick up a new phone, $299 for the Nexus 5X is a difficult offer to pass up.

The price drop comes in conjunction with a $50 discount on the gold Nexus 6P, so no matter which device you choose, you’re getting some nice savings.
