tvOS 9.1.1 rolling out to Apple TVs, here’s what’s new

Apple just released tvOS 9.1.1, the latest version of its operating system for the 2015 Apple TV. It’s available for all now, so you should grab it when you get home from work.

According to 9to5Mac, the latest release includes the “Podcasts” app, which means you can now kick back on the couch and listen to the calming voices of Sean Aune and myself as we chat through the weekly TechnoBuffalo Show podcast. That seems to be the most forward-facing change right now, and you can expect performance and bug fixes, too, since Apple usually like to sweep those into these iterative updates.

The big tvOS update, tvOS 9.2, is still in testing. We’ll let you know as soon as you can load that up on the ol’ tube, too.
