Sony hasn’t really made a big splash with new phones since IFA back in September, but that might change next month during the Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona. The company recently sent out invites for a press conference that will be held on Monday, February 22.
We don’t really know what Sony will have to show. It seems to early for a successor to the Xperia Z5, which is only now just starting to make its way to the United States. It seems plausible that the company could have some entry-level or mid-range handsets to discuss, in addition to a new wearable. The Sony SmartWatch 3 is getting a bit long in the tooth, after all.
We’ll be at Mobile World Congress ready to report back on whatever it is Sony ultimately announces.
