I love iPhone concepts. I know, I know, they’re not really a taste of what Apple is working on at all, but I really appreciate the artistic community’s visualizations of what a product looked like if Apple ran with someone else’s designs. The latest concept is from Arthur Reis and was published on ConceptsiPhone.
It imagines the iPhone 7 looking, to me at least, like an iPhone 3G with a metal body. You can certainly see the inspiration of that earlier device (pictured above). It’s much more round, almost pebble-like in its appearance (the rock, silly, not the watch.) The color options remain the same with nothing really drastic imagined. And while specs are named in the bottom of the video, they don’t really play any sort of role in the design that we see.
Check it out — think this is an approach Apple should ever think of taking?
