Netflix might dominate as the king of originals in 2016, but don’t discount Hulu just yet. The service has released the first trailer for 11.22.63, an upcoming thriller based on the book by Stephen King, and damned if I’m not hooked already. If you’re into mysteries and conspiracy theories, you’re going to love this one.

The new series, produced by J.J. Abrams, focuses on Jake Epping (James Franco), an English teacher who travels back in time in an effort to prevent the assassination of John F. Kennedy. But, as the trailer shows, the decisions he makes in the past will have a big effect on his future, leading to plenty of conflict. It’s like a much more serious Back to the Future.

11.22.63 will consist of eight one-hour episodes, which is par for the course for an original series in today’s world of streaming. Out of everything upcoming this year, Hulu’s mystery thriller looks like it could wind up being one of the best. In addition to James Franco, other big names include Chris Cooper, Josh Duhamel, and Cherry Jones.

The show will hit Hulu in its entirety on Feb. 15, 2016.
