The Grinch is real, and he finds a way to strike every Christmas. When he was checking off video games on his list this year, he decided to hit a Massachusetts family.
A nine-year-old boy was given the new Uncharted PlayStation 4 bundle – a sweet deal for a great console, to be sure. When he opened the box, though, what he found wasn’t a super-powered machine designed to render fantasy worlds, but instead a block of wood designed to ruin someone’s holiday.
Aside from it not being a PlayStation 4, the block of wood also featured some rather NSFW writing, according to Kotaku: “from c**k and balls with love.”
As for the boy, Scott Lundy, he got his PlayStation – the Target store from which the PlayStation was purchased gave the family a box with an actual PlayStation inside it as well as a $100 gift card. What he lost, though, was a bit of Christmas magic – this event, said his mother on Facebook, “has ruined his belief in Santa.”
This, in case you’re wondering, is how you drain Santa’s Clausometer.
